Trying press ons for the first time? These are the questions most first-timers ask, with short answers and links to the full guides.

How do I know my size?

Aurelle sets come in sizes XS to L (some designs XS to M), so measure before you order. Measure each nail across its widest point and match it to our size guide. If a nail is slightly off, see how to fix the fit.

Which set should I start with?

Start short. A short or extra-short set in a sheer pink is the easiest to get used to and the most forgiving if your application isn't perfect. Try Ballet Extra Short or Ballet Short Almond.

How long does it take to apply?

About five minutes once you've done it a couple of times. Follow our step-by-step application guide.

Glue or tabs?

Glue gives the firmer hold; tabs are gentler and easier to remove, so they're good for a first try. Compare them in nail glue vs adhesive tabs.

Will they feel strange?

For the first few hours, maybe. Most people stop noticing them quickly. Short shapes feel the most natural.

Will they damage my nails?

Press ons are gentle on natural nails when they're applied and removed properly. The biggest risk is pulling them off. Read are press on nails bad for your nails?

How do I take them off?

Soak, don't pull. See how to remove press on nails gently.

What if they pop off?

It's usually prep or sizing. See why press on nails pop off.
